Nokia to Provide 3G Network for US Army Testing.

Nokia has entered into a contract with the US Army after winning a
contract to build and deploy an HSDPA network. The Army has stated that
it will be deployed at an undisclosed Army Research and Development
Center to evaluate the properties of 3G networks and their potential
applications for defense. The core of the network will be built around
Nokia’s MSC Server ecosystem. The financial details of the contract
were not disclosed.
