Motorola has begun to rollout the first software update for the Motorola Devour soon after release and is also allowing manual updates over Wi-Fi.
The update speeds up the device when the hard keys for Home Menu and Back keys are used, improved stability when using the browser, searching contacts and V CAST Music, added volume key functionality when using Mobile IM and corrected picture uploading to fix a previous orientation issue with picture uploads.
The update also makes it easier to delete POP3 email accounts, improved account setup instructions, added Exchange Calendar Agenda view, auto configuration of Verizon email accounts, improvements to the ringer, voice dialing application and headset audio.
