Motorola has released the first details on its forthcoming update for the CLIQ XT, expected later this quarter ahead of the expected Éclair update. Additional features and improvements of note include phone and touchscreen improvements when opening applications and the Happenings widget. Downloading attachments and pictures within e-mail will also be improved.
The upgrade will resolve the unexpected closing of programs and added stability where the screen would become unresponsive. CLIQ XT owners have also reported problems with sent email notifications that have not been sent when the email was in fact sent, which will be resolved with this upgrade. MMS issues will also be resolved along with Bluetooth performance and connectivity.
