A few things can be drawn from this. First, is Sprint’s commitment to FOTA. From discussions with people inside Sprint, it appears that Sprint is less pursuing a common FOTA standard, but rather a commitment to FOTA in some form in every phone. The way Sprint sees it, as long as a phone has FOTA, that’s all that matters.
Also, if you noticed, the QTV and QCamcorder versions for the MM-7400 were listed, but weren’t on the MM-535. That’s because the MM-535 will apparently use LG-based technology to push and pull the 3GPP content. And, from what we’ve seen, the LG version pulls and pushes higher framerates than QTV and QCamcorder.
