Microsoft and LG Electronics have entered into a patent sharing
agreement after four years of negotiations.
The agreement covers LG’s ability to use Microsoft technologies in its
product range, including Linux-based devices, while Microsoft will have
access to LG Electronics technologies owned by MicroConnect Group and
LG technologies within the company. Financial terms of the
agreement were not disclosed.
