Sprint has been updating their phones at a very mixed pace recently. Sometimes, we confirm an update can be installed over-the-air only to find that hours later it has been pulled, only to have the same version re-released days later.
Here’s what we know, you should be able to update your LG MM-535 to version V44 via Settings > Setup/Others > Update Phone SW. In addition, you should also be able to update your Sanyo MM-9000 to firmware 1.008SP via Tools > Update Phone, and also update to 1.010SP at a Sprint Store.
It is unknown as to why Sprint is releasing some firmware revisions as FOTA-only, and some as in-store only, Sprint has not responded to multiple requests as to upcoming and released software versions.
