Third-party retailers Wirefly and LetsTalk are currently offering discounts on the forthcoming Motorola Photon 4G ahead of its launch on the 31st, with LetsTalk offering the phone for $179.99 with free activation while Wirefly is offering the phone for the same price.
The Photon 4G features dual-mode GSM/CDMA support as well as HSPA+ support for Europe and Asia. The rest of the featureset is as originally reported last month, with a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 16GB on board memory, support for 32GB microSD cards, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display, kickstand, 8 megapixel main camera with HD video capture and front-facing camera for video calls, as well as the docking port for the lapdock as found on the AT&T ATRIX 4G.
