Launch and media player specifics have surfaced on the BlackBerry 8830.
The dual-mode GSM/CDMA smart device is expected to launch through
Verizon business channels on May 14th with consumer sales beginning on
the 29th, though these are tentative dates and subject to change.
Another detail is the possible inclusion of support for music purchased
from the iTunes Music Store, though this seems highly dubious as there
is no mention of support for BlackBerry devices in iTunes at this time
nor has there ever been support for other devices besides the Motorola
RAZR and ROKR series phones.
The last detail mentions support for 2GB
microSD cards as the maximum card size supported. We will keep
following developments on this device as they come in.
