The infamous hacker collective known as LulzSec has provided a parting gift in its data dump torrent by leaking AT&T’s internal LTE planning deck. The deck details AT&T’s LTE network testing procedures, network architecture and its timeline for testing and commercial rollout on top of other details related to marketing and internal testing. One of the slides breaks down the timeline for initial testing all the way to soft and commercial launch for the LTE network, now slated to launch the first full week of July.
The second major discovery concerns the appearance of the iPad in the LTE slide deck in regards to network testing, suggesting that an iPad model with an LTE radio is being tested before its eventual release next year in order to maintain its yearly update cycle. Read More for the entire deck.
