Helio Launches Mobile Music Download Service

Helio has launched a mobile music service that will allow users to
purchase songs over the air on their handsets or download direct from
their PC and load the song to their phone using a data cable. The
service, dubbed Helio Music is unique in that songs that are purchased
from the Helio Music website are $0.99 while direct downloads to the
handset are $1.99. Record companies that will provide music for the
service include Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony-BMG,
and EMI. The service is available only on the Samsung Drift with no
mention of support for the Pantech Hero or the now discontinued VK
