The Pantech C600 has been a device few had heard of before today. Recent FCC documents show that Pantech is preparing to launch their first Cingular UMTS phone. Not much is known about the C600 other than it has UMTS 850/1900 and quad-band GSM, as well as dual color displays and a camera. Cingular is the only carrier that meets these specifications, though no Cingular branding is present on the FCC submission.
We will continue to monitor the C600 and follow up when more detailed specifications are disclosed.
