Helio Announces Ocean

Helio has formally announced the Pantech PN-810 as the Helio Ocean. The
phone is a dual siding form factor with two dedicated keypads, one for
dialing and a QWERTY keyboard for messaging.

The phone features a 2.4″
262K QVGA screen, 200MB internal memory with mictoSD expanison slot, a
claimed 5 hour talk time, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder,
Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS support, media player, full messaging client
with support for AOL Mail, Earthlink Webmail, Yahoo! Mail, GMail,
Windows Live Mail (Hotmail), full Outlook and Exchange support (a first
for a non-smartphone in the US), AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo!
Messenger, and Windows Live Messenger support.

The phone features direct contact list integration with the messaging
client to search for any contacts available on an instant messenger or
with an active Buddy Beacon and the phone also has an innovative Direct
Search client built into the idle screen that allows searches and pulls
up relevant information.

The phone also includes a hybrid HTML/WAP
browser with zoom and mini map features to make navigation on web pages
easier.  The phone is expected later this Spring for $295 and
the retail package will include a USB cable and a 2.5 to 3.5mm (1/8th
