The Samsung U700 is a midrange clamshell with a QVGA main display, 2.0 megapixel camera, microSD expansion, Flash UI support, and front-mounted touch sensitive music controls. The phone is expected to launch in this quarter with estimates pointing to a late September-early October launch.
The Samsung U900 is intended to replace the still powerful but aging A990 with the addition of a rotating QVGA display, Flash UI support, 3 megapixel camera with flash, autofocus, and automatic lens cover, stereo speakers, microSD expansion, and front-mounted touch sensitive music controls. The phone is expected to launch in the 4th quarter.
