The first live shot of the T-Mobile BlackBerry 9700 has surfaced confirming the inclusion of 3G and the optical directional pad.

The device is expected to be released later this year and will feature similarities to the 8900 Curve and Bold such as the thinner profile, leather backed battery cover, revised keyboard and other changes.
