Today only, Cowboom is offering the Motorola Droid X on Verizon Wireless for $79.99 with free shipping.
We do caution that Cowboom is the return outlet for Best Buy, and these are not refurbished items. Expect scratches and other wear-and-tear.
However, Cowboom does offer a 30 day money back guarantee, and this is one of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen for the Droid X. While discontinued (replaced with the Droid X2), the original Droid X has been updated to Android 2.3, Gingerbread. It also features a 1 GHz processor, and HDMI out.
In addition, this phone can be activated on Page Plus prepaid, making it one of the most powerful smartphones on pay-as-you-go CDMA, and likely the most powerful sub-$100 prepaid phone out there.

Are you sure it will activate on PagePlus? They have strange rules.
Ah…looks like a lot of people are having a lot of problems with the DX! Gingerbread hosed it!
We can confirm it works with Page Plus. The only devices that are having issues at Page Plus currently are LTE, iPhone, and BlackBerry devices.
All Verizon Android phones that are 3G (and not 4G) can be activated on Page Plus.
I wish I waited for a day to get this one.. I just bought a DX2 and was able to activate it on Page plus. Waiting for my data via mifi 2200 from truconnect…
