PhoneNews.com has confirmed with Verizon Wireless that the latest update for the Droid Eris will be rolling out this Friday July 16th until the following Friday on the 23rd. The update will improve contact management with support for Backup Assistant, Exchange AcvtiveSync and Facebook along with Gmail as well as improved audio and Jabra Bluetooth headset support.
