Wireless providers Alltel, Sprint, and Cingular have announced the availability of their respective high speed data services in more markets.
Starting off we have Cingular launching BroadbandAccess services in Rhode Island. Coverage is available in Barrington, Central Falls, Coventry, Cranston, Cumberland, East Providence, Gloucester, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, North Smithfield, Pawtucket, Providence, Scituate, Smithfield, Warwick, West Warwick and Woonsocket. This entire area starts from Pawtucket to North Smithfield in the north and from Barrington, Warwick and East Coventry in the south.
Next we have Alltel recently launching their Axcess Broadband service in Tallahassee Florida, also covering surrounding cities and towns. This also includes the coverage already available in Fort Myers, Panama City, Pensacola, Pinellas and Tampa. Finally we have Sprint launching EVDO Rev. A service in South Florida in time for the Super Bowl on February 4 at a stated cost of six million dollars.
