Following up last week’s confirmation that the HTC One X and One X+ would not be updated past Android 4.2, HTC US has officially posted the update for download over Wi-Fi. The update features Android 4.2.2 with the following enhancements and fixes:
- Android Version: 4.2.2
- HTC Sense: 5.0
- NFC Fixes
- AT&T Address Book Fixes
The update also adds minor user interface changes such as a new app tray, battery percentage indicator, Auto Exposure and Auto Lock for the camera app, BlinkFeed, a new lock screen, and a new camera user interface along with a new “Recent App” listing screen. The update pushes the software version to 2.15.502.1. HTC has also confirmed that the One X update will roll out shortly after this one gets under way within the next couple of days.
