AT&T has announced the forthcoming launch of three new (crippled) Motorola Android handsets in the Flipside, Bravo and the previously delayed Flipout.All three devices will run Android 2.1 and the MOTOBLUR overlay.
The Bravo features a 3.7-inch WVGA resolution touch display device with an 800 MHz processor, 3.0 megapixel camera, and DLNA streaming support via the Wi-Fi radio. The Flipside has a 3.1-inch HVGA resolution touch display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a large optical trackpad. The Flipout is a square pivot design in the same vein as the Nokia Twist on Verizon with a full keyboard below its touch display and a dedicated fifth row on the keyboard for the number row.
The rest of the featureset for all three devices consists of quadband GSM/triband HSPA, microSDHC expansion slot, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, Wi-Fi and GPS support via AT&T Navigator.
The Bravo and Flipside will be available by the holidays for $129.99 and $99.99 respectively with two-year agreements; while the Flipout will be available on October 17 for $79.99 with a 2-year agreement. None of the purchase prices require additional mail-in rebates. The respective teaser pages for each device are now open (1, 2, 3).
