AT&T Announces First LTE Phones and More Markets Launching on Sunday

AT&T has officially announced the launch of its first LTE phones in the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid. Both phones will launch this Sunday November 6th along with the expansion of LTE service to Boston MA, Washington DC, Baltimore MD and Athens GA.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket features  a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.3.5, 1.5GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 8.0 megapixel rear camera with a 2.0 megapixel front-facing cam and 16GB of internal storage space along with a microSD slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi N radio. The HTC Vivid features a black and white color option, a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) resolution display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 8.0 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 28mm wide angle lens, dual LED flash and 1080p HD video capture support along with Android 2.3.5, Wi-Fi N radio and microSD slot.

Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket is set at $249.99 after new 2 year agreement while the HTC Vivid will be priced at $199.99 after the same terms.
