Verizon has begun its newest wave of Buy One Get One Free promotions today with the Motorola Droid and HTC Eris. Specifically, if you buy the Motorola Droid with new agreement, you get the Eris for free or buy an Eris and get another on for free under the same terms.

    No, they must be purchased simultaneously. Theoretically you could return and re-buy if you are in the return period.
