Samsung Reveals New Messaging Phone for Metro PCS

Samsung R560Samsung has revealed the currently unannounced and forthcoming successor of the venerable Samsung Messager on Metro PCS.

The phone is tagged with the SCH-r560 Vice model name and FCC documents list a variant with a tri-band CDMA radio for use on Cricket and MetroPCS with bespoke branding in the image.

The phone is currently available in Canada and features Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera along with speakerphone, media player, sliding QWERTY keyboard, QVGA display, microSDHC expansion slot, and EVDO data access.

No pricing or release details are known at this time.

    That is a very nice phone. Im waiting for a new affordable phone and this is perfect! When will it come to the U.S.? PLEASE come up with a price

    this is a nice phone but they said in july sometime its supposed to come out and now its not out yet? come onnnn we want this phone but usually metro pcs has expensive prices and its very hard to afford a phone this nice. i bet that this phone will be about $ 200 $

    yea it is on the website 4 $149 and some stores will have it this friday!!!!!! I’m so getting it!!!!!
