AT&T’s Cricket has announced that it will sell SIM activation kits on Amazon beginning today. The kits are priced at $9.99 and Cricket is also offering free activation for customers that activate the new kits online or over the phone.
The kits consist of a Universal SIM with a nano SIM on the card while mini and micro SIM adapters are included and instructions on how to activate. Cricket’s service plans begin at $40 monthly, with discounts for customers that enroll in its monthly auto-pay program. The SIM kit can also be used to transfer an existing number and service to a new SIM card without activation fees, a feature not usually touted for SIM activation kits and likely promoted due to the fees third-party dealers typically charge for such a service.
