Verizon has begun to roll out the long-awaited Droid X2 Android Gingerbread update. The update will include a new download manager, multi-key input, improved word selection, highlighting and copy/paste functionality, improved user interface and adds device/memory card encryption along with IPSec VPN support.
Additional features include Google Books, Geo-tagging for photos, and easier conference calling along with individual reminder dismissal.
