Verizon is currently rolling out a new update for the Motorola Droid X that moves the device up to Android 2.2.1 with the following improvements:
- Preloaded Madden NFL football game.
- Preloaded Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
- Preloaded MyVerizon application (v5).
- Added Data Widget to home panel.
- Improved Android OS Froyo stability
- Fixes to Exchange Activesync
- Fixes to Visual Voicemail
The software version is 2.3.340.MB810.Verizon.en.USIBP_C_01.09.07P.

Definitely looking forward to trying out this latest update on the Droid X.
The new update stinks…you can’t auto rotate the web screens when your surfing internet its only on the width …. you can’t look at it vertical…. I hope they fix that soon
This update has caused nothing but headaches…not only is phone sluggish, but my gallery forces close automatically when I try to open it and I get more force closes from program then ever…im either gonna do a hard reset or take it to the store tech support…what a mess!!!
