A new report has surfaced citing an anonymous Google employee that confirms the search provider will release the Verizon version of the Nexus One on March 23rd, which is also the first day of this year’s International CTIA Wireless Expo.
The report also follows recent FCC approval of the CDMA version of the device this past week, with Verizon planning to introduce the device during the convention. Pricing is not confirmed at this time, but is expected to be inline with the T-Mobile version at $529.99 with no agreement or $179.99 after new 2 year agreement.
FINALLY! Can’t wait for this to rollout on VZW
This rumor is based on the fact that CTIA 2010 is starting on March 23. The author of this rumor is just hoping that a Verizon Nexus One will be announced during the event. This is just a rumor/wishful thinking. The same rumors came out before the Mobile World Congress event.
However, if Google was to announce a Verizon Nexus One anytime soon, CTIA would be the place to do it.
