With everyone that has a dot-com and a cell phone reporting on WLNP day-by-day, I caution everyone to pause. This site experienced a similar problem with reporting on the T608 release date after release date.
The bottom line is that all of the carriers are going to have agreements with all other carriers by November 24. The big news is if this will all work out on November 24, and that is what this site is going to be more focused on. Just because you can enter any number into your phone (or SIM card for those that use GSM) doesn’t mean that the systems can handle the prefix swap. Will PCS-to-PCS break (as it relies on prefixes)? Will you have to wait days for the systems on both ends to accept a change in prefix? Nobody knows, at least nobody that will report on it. These are the more important questions that aren’t being answered…
