TV manufacturer Vizio has announced its own entry into the burgeoning Android tablet and smartphone space with the Via series of Android-powered devices ahead of CES this week in an interview given by CTO Matthew McRae to the Wall Street Journal.
The Via series will be released this summer and will feature a tablet and phone with 5.0 megapixel front/rear cameras, Wi-Fi and Android Honeycomb, judging by the revamped Favorites screen shown in the press image. The smartphone will feature a 4 inch display while the tablet will feature an 8 inch display.
