Further pricing and technical specifications have surfaced regarding the Verizon VX8360, the successor to the venerable VX8350 midrange clamshell. Â The phone originally slated for an October 2008 release has been held back until all remaining VX8350 stock is cleared from the sales channels and sold, at which time the VX8360 will become available in all sales channels.
The VX8360 is functionally similar to the 8350 it replaces with front mounted touch sensitive media player controls, external display, microSDHC expansion slot, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, Rhapsody support, full V CAST Music/Video support, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, VZ Navigator, and speakerphone.
The phone will be priced at $239.99 Month to Month, $169.99 on a 1 year agreement and inPulse prepaid, and $99.99 on a new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the totals to $119.99 and $49.99 respectively.
