Verizon Slashes Casio G’zOne Pricing, on Clearance

Verizon Wireless today cut the price of their high-end Casio G’zOne phone. The G’zOne Type-V is now available for $99.99 with new two-year agreement from Verizon’s web store.

The G’zOne Type-V is the only cell phone in America that can be completely submerged in water as a part of normal operation. The phone is heavily resistant to water, dust, and shock. Also, as a former AU by KDDI phone in Japan, the EV-DO phone is complimented with a 2.0 megapixel camera, as well as V CAST Video and VZ Navigator.

It also appears that Verizon is clearancing the G’zOne Type-V, as noted by a “while supplies last” note on the page. It is not known if the Type-V will be replaced with its newer Japanese counterpart, the G’zOne W42CA.
