Verizon has relaunched their data plans with a more conventional pricing and access structure aimed at casual users.
Before, when a customer wanted to use mobile web features, airtime was charged for an additional $5 a month. Under each Nationwide voice plan, access is now included at no additional charge with data transfer being charged at $1.99 per megabyte. Access plans similar to Sprint’s Data Packs are now set at $15 and $25 per month respectively, but current customers are not affected, as this currently applies only to new customers.
