Following up on previous reporting, Verizon has surreptitiously revised its Advanced Device list and removed the following phones/devices:
- LG Dare VX9700
- LG Env Touch VX11000
- Casio Exlim C721
- Samsung Glyde SCH-U940
- Samsung Glyde Revision SCH-U940R
- Motorola Krave ZN4
- Samsung Rogue SCH-u960
- LG Versa VX9600
- LG Versa VX9600WOK
- LG Voyager VX10K Silver
The revised list is now entirely populated by smart devices and netbooks, with speculation running rampant that recent FCC inquiries into the carrier’s recent business practices played a role in the revision of the list.
As the above devices are now off of the list, the ETF for accounts with the above phones is now at the $179 rate, instead of the higher $350 rate when purchasing a smart device or netbook.
