Verizon Wireless today announced that it is breaking up its unlimited aircard plans. Previously, their unlimited $79.99 plan covered both EV-DO and 1xRTT access. Now, they will offer 1xRTT (or NationalAccess) for $59.99, while EV-DO (or BroadbandAccess) is now $79.99.
In addition, Verizon will offer unlimited smart device plans for $49.99, and 10 MB for $29.99. Verizon was unclear as to if these plans were standalone, or could only be added to a voice plan.
Finally, Verizon confirmed that their Treo 650 has launched today for sale to consumers, and that the Samsung i730 would run Windows Mobile 2003SE, and not Windows Mobile 5.0 at-launch.
