This morning, Verizon Wireless has announced pricing and launch details regarding its variant of the Samsung Galaxy S in the Samsung Fascinate. The high-end Android device will launch tomorrow online for $199.99 after new 2 year agreement and $100 instant discount, with availability in-store beginning on Thursday after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Verizon Fascinate will be the most heavily customized version of the Samsung Galaxy S reference design with the least amount of internal memory at 2GB of internal Flash plus a pre-installed 16GB microSD card. Specifications are otherwise identical with a 4-inch AMOLED display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, Android 2.1, 5.0 megapixel camera with 720p video capture and flash along with preloaded Swype keyboard.
