Verizon Announces LG VX8550

Verizon has announced the pending relaunch of the Chocolate by LG. The
VX8550 is successor to the first Chocolate and features many
improvements to its controls and user interface.

The thinner slider features
a completely redesigned Navigation Wheel as
well as vibrating feedback for the secondary controls on the electrostatic
touchpad, addressing complaints of sensitivity issues found in the
first model.

The phone features a dedicated music player key, upgraded
external speaker, microSD slot with support for 4GB cards, 1.3
megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo audio
support, media player with MP3 support and multitasking, Flash UI,
speakerphone, and speaker independent voice dialing/voice commands.

The phone will be available on July 9th in all Verizon Wireless sales channels for $99.99 after a new 2 year agreement along with instant discount and rebates.
