Verizon Wireless has officially announced the long-rumored Verizon One converged device, now known as the Hub.
The Hub consists of a cordless handset and base with a 7-inch widescreen touch display that is connected to a broadband internet connection and can interact with Verizon Wireless devices in lieu of a landline, while also supporting features such as VZ Navigator, VZ Chaperone, VCAST, real-time calendar management, search, photo viewer, and even send SMS/MMS messages.
The device will launch on February 1st with pricing set at $249.99 before an additional $50 mail-in rebate bringing the total to $199.99, with a monthly fee of $34.99 a month which includes unlimited messaging to and from the device.
