Verizon has officially announced its own variant of the BlackBerry Curve 3G set for launch on Thursday in business sales channels with consumer sales beginning at the end of the month. Like the version recently launched on T-Mobile, the Curve 3G will feature an optical directional pad, Wi-Fi radio with wireless N support, microSDHC slot, media player and 3.5mm headphone jack along with Bluetooth with stereo audio support. A future update to BlackBerry 6 will also be slated for the device while it will initially launch with BlackBerry OS5.
