A new simplified program for Windows Mac OS X and Linux aims to cut the steps of rooting an Android device down to a few mouseclicks, with several caveats.
Unrevoked3 will work with the Sprint EVO 4G, Droid Incredible, Desire, Aria, and Droid Eris, although the biggest caveat concerns disabled WiMax radios on Evo 4G devices after performing the root.
The root will also work with the Incredible’s latest update, with the best way to root being applying the update first unrooted, then running the tool.
