Following up on the confirmation of Comcast beginning Clear WiMax resale in Portland, Time Warner Cable CEO Glenn Britt has confirmed the cable company will do the same for the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Charlotte North Carolina markets this fall not long after Clear service launch.
The service is expected to be bundled with its cable modem service in a similar vein as the Comcast bundle sold in Portland and Atlanta, but no specific details have been confirmed as of yet.
Further details will be available at a later date and the confirmation reinforces its initial investment in the new Clearwire last year along with Comcast, Brighthouse Networks, Google and Intel totaling $3.2 billion.
