MetroPCS has launched its version of the Huawei Ascend after an unexplained delay pushed it back from its original early December release for $179.99.  The phone features an HVGA resolution capacitive display, Android 2.1, 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture, microSDHC expansion slot and Wi-Fi radio. MetroPCS Announces LG Optimus M

MetroPCS has announced the forthcoming launch of its first Android device in the LG Optimus M for $229.99 beginning on Wednesday.  The smartphone features a 3.2 inch capacitive touch display, Android 2.2, microSDHC expansion slot, 3.2 megapixel camera with video recorder and Bluetooth with stereo audio support.
