Sprint: AirGate Moves To Block Merger

AirGate PCS (a subsidiary of Sprint affiliate Alamosa) has filed to block the Sprint Nextel merger. While in talks with Sprint, AirGate does not believe they will be able to negotiate a resolution, and is invoking their no-compete clause of their affiliate agreement with Sprint. FCC & DOJ Approve Sprint Nextel Merger
