Verizon: EV-DO Lands In Vegas
Verizon Wireless today announced that they have launched their EV-DO BroadbandAccess network in Las Vegas and the greater Las Vegas area. This brings the EV-DO area count to three, as Las Vegas joins San Diego and Washington DC that fully launched earlier this year.
Sprint Clarifies Future Data Plans
Sprint has posted a PDF detailing their future data plans on a roadmap. It confirms that they will implement 1xEV-DO Release 0 initially, and then upgrade to Release A beginning in 2006.
