T-Mobile Announces Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and SpringBoard Android Tablets

T-Mobile has announced the forthcoming launch of two new Android tablets in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the T-Mobile branded SpringBoard 7-inch tablet.

The Samsung Tab 10.1 features a 10 inch display at 1280×800 resolution, Android Honeycomb 3.2, Nvidia Tegra 2 processor rear 3.0 megapixel camera with HD video capture and flash, front facing 2.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi N radio, HDMI output, 16GB of internal memory with microSD slot and 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet will be released during the holiday season.

The T-Mobile SpringBoard is a new 7-inch Android tablet with Honeycomb 3.2, 1200×800 resolution multi-touch display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 16GB of internal memory with microSD slot, 5.0 megapixel rear camera with 720p video capture, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi radio. Additional features include an HDMI output. Like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, it will be released during the holiday season.

The SpringBoard is, in its unbranded form, the Huawei MediaPad which was announced long ago.
