According to internal T-Mobile documentation, T-Mobile is set to introduce a new add-on for people with family and friends in other countries that are typically reticent to stay in touch due to high costs.
The new International Talk & Text add-on will be launched on December 8th for single lines only and requires a minimum $49.99 monthly rate plan with messaging included for a reduced $10 add-on rate, or a more expensive $25 add-on rate for those with no messaging plan on the account. The add-on allows for unlimited messaging and landline calls to 56 countries with no additional charges or reduced rates for messaging and calls outside of the 56 countries selected by the carrier.
