T-Mobile has launched the successor to the venerable and outdated Dash/HTC Excalibur with the Dash 3G/HTC Snap earlier than expected online.
The Dash 3G is a variant of the reference HTC Snap and features upgraded hardware with a QVGA landscape display, quadband GSM/EDGE, Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, A-GPS, single-band AWS HSDPA data access, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios, Qualcomm 7501a chipset with 256MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM running at 528 MHz, speakerphone, and 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder.
As confirmed previously, the Dash 3G from T-Mobile does omit the Inner Circle email program found on other versions of the Snap.
The device is available now for $369.99 outright, or $169.99 after a $180 instant online discount, new 2 year agreement and required data plan.
