T-Mobile has confirmed that it has begin rolling out Android 1.6 to G1 and myTouch users across the country today with the update being completed in the next few days.
Android 1.6, also known as Donut includes many new features such as the Quick Search Box for Android to search across multiple sources such as browser bookmarks & history, contacts, and the web directly from the home screen with adaptive search along with an updated user interface which provides integrated camera, camcorder and gallery functionality, new battery usage screen and an Android Market update.
