After first appearing on T-Mobile’s website last week, both T-Mobile and MetroPCS have announced pricing details for the LG Stylo and Leon. The Stylo will cost $289.92 at full retail or $12.08 per month at T-Mobile under a Simple Choice plan and the Leon will cost $149.76 at full retail or $6.24 per month under the same plan.
T-Mobile Prepaid customers can get the Leon for free after an online rebate or in-store after activating on a monthly prepaid plan of $40 or higher on either Simply Prepaid or the prepaid version of Simple Choice. Prepaid customers will see the Leon price dropped down to just $50 at checkout online and then be able to claim the $50 back online as a promotional rebate.
However, customers opting for the no credit check Simple Choice plans will pay $149.76 up front online and then claim that amount back as a rebate online through T-Mobile.com/promotions while needing to pay any deposit amounts and remining in good standing for 30 days in order to qualify for the rebate.
Sibling company MetroPCS will also sell the Stylo and Leon for $199.99 and $49.99, respectively after online rebates, while in-store rebates will be of the instant variety beginning on June 1st for the Stylo and May 22nd for the Leon.
Customers who switch to MetroPCS from a competing non-T-Mobile carrier will receive either a free LG Leon or $50 credit toward the phone of their choice, along with the revival of its popular “4 Lines for $100” family plan promotion, with both promotions beginning today.
