Sprint earlier this week released an update for the Sanyo MM-8300. Version 1.007SP improves both Picture Mail and fixes bugs with the multimedia player in the device.
In addition, Sprint has pulled firmware update ZB12 for the Samsung MM-A900. Many users had complained about a significant loss of battery life when using non-voice functions on the device. Some users have also been reported being offered a firmware downgrade to ZA06 when running Update Phone Software on the device.
To update the Sanyo MM-8300, go to Menu > Tools > Update Phone SW
To update the Samsung MM-A900, go to Menu > Settings > Others > Update Phone SW
how can i go into my phone for the update of the sanyo mm 8300. i called sprint but the rep. don’t know what i’m talking about. i want to update the firmware and any other update for this phone. thanks
