After an accidental leak on its own YouTube channel a few weeks ago, Sprint has confirmed that it will indeed carry the lower-cost version of the HTC One in the (E8) and has begun online sales.
The E8 is a less expensive version of the M8 that carries over many of the same features such as the 5-inch full HD screen, BoomSound speakers, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2,600mAh battery with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and HTC Sense 6.0. The phone features a standard 13-megapixel sensor main camera rather than the UltraPixel unit, being the only major difference to the M8 aside from the bodyshell. The Sprint E8 also features Sprint Spark, Wi-Fi calling support, and HD Voice. The HTC One E8 can now be purchased for $0 down followed by 24 monthly payments of $20.84, $99 with a new two-year contract or $499.99 at full retail.
