Sprint Launches Sanyo M1 & 7000

Sprint has taken the wraps off the Sanyo M1. The M1 represents a new attempt by Sanyo to attract to the high-end audience. Their last high-end phone to exclusively target such an audience was the Sanyo 9000.

The Sanyo M1 features 1 GB of built-in memory storage for music and multimedia playback. However, that is at the cost of a removable memory card. The phone also features Bluetooth, and a 2.0 megapixel camera.



Also launched today was the Sanyo 7000. The 7000 is a ruggedized version of the Sanyo 2400 (with changeable faceplates). The Sanyo M1 is available for $199.99 after rebate with new two-year agreement, $349.99 without contract. The Sanyo 7000 is available for $29.99 after rebate with new two-year agreement, $179.99 without contract.
